You can use the placeholder tags in HireAra to transfer data that you have manually entered into your CV to another template or simply as a placeholder box for information you want to add to your template typically not present on a candidate's CV. By Following these steps you can add placeholder tags to your templates
Step-by-Step Guide:
Navigate to the branding tab:
Start by selecting the branding tab and select the Placeholder tag section
Choose the type of placeholder you want to create
Use the drop-down menu to select what type of placeholder tag you want to create between a long tag or a short tag.
Create your placeholder tag
Name your placeholder tag and click the Create button
Add the placeholder tag to the relevant template
Once you've created your placeholder tag, add it to your desired templates using the ‘@’ key and typing in the name of your placeholder tag.
Tips:
The same placeholder tag needs to be on all relevant templates: For information manually entered into a placeholder to be transferred, both templates must contain the same placeholder tag.
Strategically name your placeholder tag: The placeholder tags are visually similar to regular tags on the template builder so we’d recommend naming them strategically to distinguish between them. E.g. PH: Availability
Use a free text section to use the placeholder tags: The placeholder tags can only be used in free text sections and not employment history or education sections.
Use the appropriate length for the tag: If you use the long tag length, you won’t be able to enter multiple tags on the same row. If you use short tags, you can enter multiple on the same row so choose the best size based on the information you are entering.
You must have Admin or brand editor access: You must have either admin or brand editor level of access to change the placeholder tags. Reach out to your account lead if do not have access.
