Add headshots to CV templates

Add your headshots to CV templates in the editor.

Understand how to include candidate and recruiter headshots in your CV templates. Adding headshots helps personalise CVs and ensures key information is automatically populated for consultants.

📌 Note: This is an admin feature. If you are a recruiter, contact your account lead to update the template.


Add a candidate headshot

  1. Go to the template builder, then locate Candidate Headshot under Main Features.

  2. Drag the Candidate Headshot card onto the document.

  3. Adjust the settings as required, including Page, Shape, Border thickness, Height, and Colour.

  4. Enter tags in the text box next to the headshot to generate relevant information from the candidate’s CV, such as an executive summary or key competencies.

Your consultants can now upload candidate headshots directly in the CV editor.


Add a recruiter headshot

  1. Go to the template builder, then locate Recruiter Summary under Main Features.

  2. Drag the Recruiter Summary card onto the page.

  3. Add any additional placeholder tags, such as the recruiter’s email address or phone number, to pre-fill this information in the CV editor.

Ask your team to upload their headshots on the Defaults page in the HireAra app. These headshots will automatically appear in templates where the recruiter summary card is used.
