How to map fields between your CRM and HireAra

Updated yesterday

What is field mapping?

Field mapping allows you to connect certain fields from your CRM to placeholder tags in HireAra. These can then be used in templates to dynamically pull and display candidate-specific data.

CRM fields you can map

  • Salary-related fields

    • Desired salary, current salary and currency type from Vincere

    • Current basic, current package, min basic and min package from ARCRM

    • Current pay rate, current salary, desired pay rate and desired salary from Bullhorn

  • Availability-related fields

    • Availability and notice days from Vincere

    • Availability and available date from ARCRM

    • Date available from Bullhorn

  • Candidate summaries

    • Candidate brief from Vincere

    • Candidate notes from ARCRM

Set up field mapping

βœ… Step 1: Create placeholder tags

  1. Navigate to branding and then placeholder tags

  2. Create a tag for each field you want to map, for example:

    • Desired salary field mapping

We recommend creating short tags for these fields.

βœ… Step 2: Go to CRM field mapping

  1. Navigate to the CRM field mapping section.

  2. HireAra will detect which CRM system you're connected to.

  3. Click add field mapping.

βœ… Step 3: Map Fields

  1. Choose a CRM field, e.g., desired salary.

  2. Assign it to the appropriate placeholder tag, e.g., desired salary field mapping

  3. Repeat for other fields (e.g., notice period).

  4. (Optional) Map a note field like a Candidate brief, if available in your CRM.

βœ… Step 4: Update your templates

  1. Go to the Templates section.

  2. Open or create a new template.

  3. Insert the placeholder tags you created earlier.

  4. Save and preview the template.
