Updated over 3 months ago

You can use the parsing models within HireAra to get better data quality if there is missing information or data on your formatted CV. Changing the parser is a simple process and by following these steps you can choose the best parsing model to edit your CV as quickly as possible.

What are HireAra's Parsers?

  • AI Parser 1
Market-leading, third-party provider. Accessible in the dropdown.
Use this first if you experience poor data quality on the Multi-Parser.

  • AI Parser 2
Market-leading, third-party provider. Accessible in the dropdown.
Has OCR capability so it can read image CVs.

  • HireAra's Multi-Parser
    Selected by default.
Using HireAra's machine-learning model, we combine the best data from both parsers 1 & 2 to give you the best of the best.

  • Parser X in BETA
HireAra's in-house parser released in BETA.
Our initial feedback shows a significant improvement in data quality, especially on the harder CVs.
To use Parser X, you must select it in the drop.
We are eager to hear your feedback on it's performance, so please get in touch.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Upload Your CV

Begin by uploading your CV to the platform. Once uploaded, the CV will automatically be processed by various parsing providers.

  2. Review the Parsed Data

After the initial parsing, review the extracted data. You can do this by scanning through sections like career history to ensure all information has been captured correctly.

  3. Switch Between Parsing Models

If you notice any missing or incorrect data, you can switch between different parsing models to see which provides the best result.

  4. Make Edits and Adjustments

Once you've chosen the best parsing model, make any necessary edits directly on the platform. You can copy and paste information between sections to ensure completeness.

Tips:

  • Initial Review: Always conduct a thorough review of the parsed data to catch any omissions early.

  • Model Selection: Test all parsing models to determine which one provides the most accurate data for your specific CV.

  • Edits after Switching: Make all necessary edits after changing the parsing model to avoid losing your work.

You can change the parsing model by following these steps and tips. If you encounter any issues or have additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. We're here to help!
