How do I create an editable CV template?

A step-by-step guide on how to create a Template to top & tail and anonymise the candidates Original CV.

​How can I use this?

  1. Duplicate an existing template OR add a new in the templates page within HireAra.

    1. If you have duplicated the CV, delete all content on the CV page by dragging and dropping into the bin on the right hand side.

  2. Navigate to the Main Features menu on the left hand side of the page.

  3. Drag and drop the Original CV option into the correct position on the template.

  4. If you wish to add header/footer content, ensure all toggles are turned on.

Best practice

  • Use the candidate's Original CV to showcase how they've presented themselves, but remove their contact details to ensure your client doesn't go direct.
